A Look Back at the Alumni x Entrepreneurship x Partners After-Work Event: Entrepreneurship for a Sustainable Future

On Tuesday, March 24, the Alumni x Entrepreneurship x Partners afterwork brought together alumni, students, companies, and partners from the local ecosystem in Anglet. Co-organized by the Alumni network, the DPIE entrepreneurship team, and the Technopole Pays Basque, this event was part of the Sud Aquitaine Innovation University Innovation Cluster (PUI), led by UPPA. It showcased a variety of inspiring entrepreneurial journeys, fostering rich and friendly exchanges.

The event, hosted by Thomas Perron, began with an introduction by Laurent Bordes, President of the University of Pau and Pays de l’Adour. The evening continued with a series of impactful testimonials from committed speakers, who presented their companies and highlighted the role of UPPA in their journeys.

First, entrepreneur alumni :

• Stéphanie Sorhouet ('1999), Co-Director in charge of business development, marketing communication, and CSR - SOMOCAP 

• Michel Tardio ('1993), Founder and Manager - EMAN - Groupe Clim

• Julie Landart ('2010), Co-founder and Head of Development - Mellow Sea

Then, a PhD entrepreneur benefiting from the National Student-Entrepreneur Status (SNEE):

• Quentin Gouty, founder of n-Homade, PhD student in chemistry and winner of Starthèse 2025 

A networking session over a dinner cocktail extended the discussions and encouraged new synergies.
