In 12 key dates, this exhibition traces the dynamics of population movements that have laid the foundations of our shared history.
Migrations are explored through the evolution of the status of foreigners, hospitality and hostility, daily life, social, economic, and cultural transformations, political mobilizations, and the dynamics of integration and discrimination.
It is presented as part of the symposium *Exiles, Refugees, Foreigners in France, 1848-1986*, organized by the ITEM-UPPA laboratory from February 5 to 7, 2025.
This exhibition is provided by the National Museum of the History of Immigration.
