Can you tell us more about your background?

I loved sport at high school, particularly outdoor activities that give you a sense of freedom, so after my Baccalaureate I decided to study for a STAPS degree in Tarbes. The course confirmed my growing interest in health and how the human body works. I then hesitated between pursuing a career in physiotherapy and doing applied studies in nutrition, and decided to explore both options by sending out several applications. In the end, it was the Master’s in Healthcare Prevention that appealed to me most, which took me to Nice in 2016.

During the Master’s, one of the lecturers introduced me to the fascinating world of entrepreneurship where I found the same sense of freedom I had sought through sport. In the final year of my Master’s, I devoted my dissertation internship to setting up a company in the field of sport and health, within the UPPA incubator, EntrePau.

Two years after obtaining my Master's degree, I left my management position in the health sector to devote myself 100% to entrepreneurship in 2021. I developed my own project focusing on nutrition and mental health. Today, my company specialises in Psycho-Nutrition, working to prevent eating disorders, raise awareness with regard to outdated dietary beliefs and promote good physical and mental health more generally.

What are the highlights of your career?

  • My first foray into entrepreneurship at Entre'Pau in 2018
  • The consolidation of my Psycho-Nutrition services in 2022 and the acquisition of my first clients.
  • The release of my book and patented method in December 2023.
  • Conferences, seminars and workshops at which I regularly speak, whether to various media or university students.

What are your plans for 2024?

Since November 2023, I've decided to put my time-consuming role as a therapist to one side and devote myself fully to my job as an entrepreneurship coach, a new challenge that has always fascinated me.

For my company, I do more one-off seminars and training courses, which gives me time to explore new market features in 2024 and stay on top of the latest trends.

For the coming year, my aim is to continue to support and encourage UPPA students and their projects, while promoting a new vision of entrepreneurship, a vision where you can give everything without sacrificing yourself. I think the days when entrepreneurship meant sacrificing your whole life are over.

Working with students and learning from them is very rewarding. It's a beneficial exchange where, despite our differences in age and experience, we can still learn from each other.

I'm really enjoying it all, without falling into a specific category! You can be an entrepreneur and an employee at the same time. So long as you manage to combine the two and it makes you happy, there are no fixed rules.
